EXPLORE
IFoRE TRACKS
The theme for IFoRE ’22 is Science Convergence in an Inclusive and Diverse World. Attendees will take part in a variety of multi-track Key Thought sessions that explore the strength of scientific research when diverse minds converge, as well as Key Thoughts that conquer the challenges of increasing diversity, equity, & inclusion in the research community.
Submissions are open to all scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, ethicists, artists, filmmakers, and communicators worldwide and will be reviewed and competitively selected by a panel of experts. Submitted Key Thoughts are organized into one of five IFoRE Tracks: two Thematic Tracks and three Mission Tracks.
Thematic Tracks
Thematic Tracks are Key Thoughts that align with the theme of IFoRE ‘22. The two Thematic Tracks are Convergence, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Submissions may demonstrate the practice of convergence, explore research through a convergence or DEI lens, showcase efforts to promote/maintain DEI, and more.
Mission Tracks
Mission Tracks are composed of Key Thoughts that help individual researchers, educators, communicators, and institutions achieve or advance research excellence. The three Mission Tracks are Research, Research Impacts, and STEM Education. Submissions may examine emerging ethics and integrity issues in research, share better approaches to STEM education and workforce development, counter misinformation and provide trustworthy information for the public, and more.
